Separate selfies, same Halloween photo

Where people use a two-photo couple shot, and what comes out.

Two separate selfies, a man at his desk and a woman on a sidewalk, turned into one photo of them in matching vampire costumes

Two photos in

One scene from two selfies

He took his at a desk, she took hers on a sidewalk. The template keeps both faces, dresses them as a matching pair and puts them in one candlelit hall with the same light on both.

Long distance

Miles apart, side by side

Different cities, no photo together yet. Each of you sends a selfie and you get one Halloween picture of the two of you, a keepsake for the group chat rather than a record of a real night out.

Plan together

Answer "what should we be?" together

Run Vampires and Witch & warlock on the same two photos and pick the pair you both like. Then buy it, or build it from what's already in your closets.

Side-by-side collage vs one shared photo

Two selfies next to each other still look like two photos. Here is what changes when it's one.

Face close-ups: the man and the woman in their own selfies, then the same two faces in the zombie wedding look

Each face stays its own

Each person keeps their own face, skin tone, hairstyle and build, taken from their own photo.

Six couple costume looks from the same two selfies: vampires, zombie wedding, witch and warlock, skeletons, pumpkin and scarecrow, and ghosts

Costumes that come as a pair

6 themes made for two: Vampires, Zombie wedding, Witch & warlock, Skeletons, Pumpkin & scarecrow and Ghosts. Spooky or cute, both outfits belong to the same idea.

One scene, one light

Each pair comes with its own setting, from a candlelit hall to a pumpkin patch at golden hour, and both of you share the same light.

Partners, best friends or siblings

Any two people work, or you and your pet, one per photo. Team up with your best friend for Skeletons or your dog for Pumpkin & scarecrow.

Picking two selfies that belong in one frame

The result is half-body and side by side, so two photos that match each other blend best.

Do

  1. Two chest-up portraits at the same distance, side by side on white

    Same distance in both

Chest-up or half-body in both photos, so one face isn't twice the size of the other.

  2. A woman looking straight into the camera on a white background

    Both looking at the lens

If one of you looks away, the pair reads as two strangers in one frame.

  3. A man's face evenly lit by soft light on a white background

    Even light on each face

The scene relights you both, but a dark face loses the detail that keeps it you.

  4. Pets welcome

Swap either side for your dog or cat: one pet per photo, its face in full view.

Avoid

  1. A selfie with a friend's face crowding into the edge of the frame

    Someone else in the photo

One person or pet per photo; crop out everyone else first.

  2. A selfie with hair and a hand covering half the woman's face

Hair or hands across the face

Half a face can't be matched.

  3. A distant figure on a beach with a face too small to see

    A far-away shot

A tiny face leaves too little to keep.

Auto follows the left photo's shape. Two people side by side fit best in 4:3, 1:1 or 16:9; tall shapes leave less room on each side.

Consent, privacy and other couple photo questions

Can AI make one couple photo from two separate photos?+

Yes. Upload one photo of each person, pick a pair look such as Vampires or Ghosts, and you get one half-body picture of you two side by side. There's no prompt to write; the template handles the costumes, scene and light.

Can long-distance couples make a Halloween photo together?+

Yes. Each of you sends a selfie from wherever you are, and the template places you both in one scene. It's a generated keepsake, not a photo of a real night together, so say it's AI-made when you post it.

Do I need my partner's permission to use their photo?+

Yes. Ask before you upload their photo and again before you share the result, and only use photos of people who said yes. Never use a celebrity, an ex or someone you don't know.

Are couple photos private on a free account?+

Yes. Couple photos never appear in the public gallery, on free or paid plans, because they include someone else's face. If you animate one, the video stays private too; sharing is up to you.

Who ends up on the left and who on the right?+

The left upload stands on the left and the right upload on the right, so swap the photos to swap places. In pairs with two different outfits, such as Pumpkin & scarecrow, each person gets the half that fits how they're dressed in their photo.

Can we add our dog or a third person?+

Your dog, yes: put its photo in one slot and yours in the other, and the pair look fits a costume to each of you. A third person, no: it takes exactly two photos, one each; for three or more people, Pumpkin Head works from a single group photo.

What if one of us doesn't look like themselves?+

Check that person's photo first: a side angle, a far-away shot, hair or a hand across the face, or dim light leave too little to keep. Swap in a clearer photo for them and run it again.
