Five beats, one take

What is the Dime Dime Baby meme?

The Dime Dime Baby meme is a party clip in which one guest at a quinceañera dances up to the phone, takes a bite of bread, stares into the lens with full cheeks and dances back into the crowd, set to the “dime, dime, baby” line that gave it its name. Your photo plays that guest for all 14 seconds; the banquet hall, the lights, where the other guests dance and the handheld one-take camera come from the template.

Beats 1–3 · Dance in, bite, stare

Up to the phone, one bite, a full-cheek stare

You shuffle in from deep on the dance floor, shoulders bouncing, raise a hand for one bite of a small bread roll, then hold the lens with full cheeks, chewing without a blink or a smile. That deadpan stare is the punchline the whole meme is cut around.

Beat 4 · Dance away

Back into the crowd, still chewing

You turn your back on the camera and dance off among the guests as if nothing happened, one hand raised over the crowd.

Beat 5 · Point

The comeback point and grin

The AI remakes added an ending: you walk back to the phone, point right at the camera and finally crack a grin.

Dime Dime Baby, bby wow guy, BbY WOW: which name means what?

The first three names describe the same party meme. BbY WOW is the song the name comes from, and the BbY WOW dance is a separate trend set to that song.

How a 2025 quinceañera clip became the Dime Dime Baby meme

“Dime, dime, baby” is Spanish for “tell me, tell me, baby”. The party clip behind the meme went viral more than a year before it got that name.

2025

A real party clip and a stare with a nickname

At a quinceañera in northern Mexico, the 15th-birthday party many Mexican families throw for a daughter, a young staff member danced up to a phone filming the party, bit into a concha (a round sweet bread with a crackled sugar top), stared into the lens and danced off. The 9-second clip circulated from late June 2025 and took off in July. Before the song gave it a name, people shared it as the guy dancing at a quince, or the concha meme. Mexican viewers nicknamed the look “la mirada preñadora”, joking slang for a stare that is far too intense, and he is the bby wow guy people mean.

2026

A song line names it, then AI recasts it

BbY WOW came out on August 7, 2026, and its “dime, dime, baby” line soon followed the party clip around. On October 12, 2026 a green-screen meme template set the clip to a sped-up cut of the song, and by October 13, 2026 people were calling it Dime Dime Baby. On October 17, 2026 the first AI remake to go viral put a mustached cowboy in the same banquet hall and added the walk back and the point. From October 19, 2026, one-tap template tutorials and remakes starring other unlikely guests spread.

What to wear to the Dime Dime Baby quinceañera

Your photo brings your face, hair, build and clothes, so the outfit in it is the one you dance in. The template's cowboy hat and embroidered shirt only appear if you are wearing them. The less your look fits a quinceañera, the funnier the stare: the cowboy and gym-bro remakes spread for exactly that reason.

The suit

Dressed for a board meeting

A three-piece suit and tie turn the bite into a business decision. Wedding, prom or office photos all work.

The gym tank

Cheat day on the dance floor

Big arms and a lime tank top among ball gowns and gold chairs. Gym clothes or a team jersey both work.

Your own boots and buckle

Hat, fringe and a big buckle, like the remake that started the AI wave, worn by you instead.

A guest in silver armor and a long red wig chews deadpan, holding a bitten concha on the dance floor

The cosplay

Full costume, no explanation

Armor, a wig, a costume you made yourself: the party carries on and you keep chewing. Pick one that leaves your whole face visible.

How to choose a photo for the bby wow guy role

The template films you head to toe on the dance floor and from the chest up when you come back to point, so one photo has to hold up at both distances.

Bring these to the party

  1. A man in a grey sweater standing head to toe on a white background

    Enough of you to dance

You dance across the whole floor. A knees-up or full-length photo keeps your build and clothes; with a waist-up crop, the rest gets made up.

  2. A woman photographed chest up, facing the camera on a white background

Eyes on the camera, mouth free

The stare and the point are aimed straight at the lens. Look into the camera with both eyes visible, in even light, with nothing at your mouth.

  3. A man in a burgundy velvet blazer photographed knees up on a white background

    A photo someone else took

Ask a friend to shoot it from a few steps away. A mirror selfie puts the phone over your face and flips your outfit.

Leave these at home

  1. Three friends hugging in a café snapshot

    You plus friends

With more people in the photo, a guest can end up with a friend's face, or the wrong person takes the bite.

  2. A close selfie of a man's face, cut off at the forehead

    Just a face, no outfit

There is no body or outfit to go on, so your build and clothes get invented.

  3. A woman in sunglasses and a low baseball cap in a park

Eyes behind lenses or a brim

The stare needs your eyes. Sunglasses and low caps hide them; a hat is fine if the brim stays above your eyes.

FAQ

Dime Dime Baby AI: song, price and casting questions

How do I make a Dime Dime Baby AI video?+

Upload one photo of yourself to the “Party guest who bites” slot, check the length, shape and quality, and press Generate; the button shows the credit price first. The finished video plays in place and you can download it. There is nothing to film and no prompt to write.

Is Dime Dime Baby AI free?+

No, each video costs credits: 189 to 925 depending on length and resolution, and 335 for the default 14 seconds at 768p. The exact price is on the Generate button before you start.

What song is the Dime Dime Baby meme, and is it in my video?+

The song is “BbY WOW” by KAROL G, Judeline and rusowsky; the meme runs on a sped-up cut of its chorus. Your video comes with party sound generated by the model, not the song. To post it with the track, add BbY WOW from the TikTok, Instagram or YouTube sound library and line up “dime, dime, baby” with your bite; #dimedimebaby and #bbywow are the tags people use.

Is the original bby wow guy in my video?+

No. The template is an AI-made remake, not the 2025 party video, and your photo replaces its lead in every shot. The other guests get ordinary generated faces.

Can I put a friend, my baby or my dog in it?+

A grown-up friend, yes, with their permission: use their photo instead of yours. The template is made for one adult at a time, so there is no baby, kid, pet or duo version.

How is this different from a Dime Dime Baby CapCut template?+

Green-screen templates ask you to film yourself doing the moves and key yourself into the party. Here you upload one photo and the whole clip is generated, from the dance-in to the point.

Is the Dime Dime Baby video real?+

The meme started with a real 2025 party video. What you make here is an AI video built from your photo, so label it as AI-generated when you post it.

Why doesn't the guest look exactly like me?+

The stare at the lens, the final point and the quick turns are where a face drifts most. A sharper photo with your face straight to the camera helps; if a take still looks off, generate it again.

Is this an official KAROL G or Dime Dime Baby app?+

No. Oeneo AI is not affiliated with KAROL G, Judeline, rusowsky, the people in the 2025 video or any template app. It offers this template so you can make your own take on the meme.
