Move 1
Head in hands, then a hand on the hip
Bent double and clutching the head, the arguer straightens up, stares down the lens and settles into hand-on-hip disbelief. Your photo decides who is doing the sighing; the template sets the timing.
Make the Bad Times AI video from one photo of you, a friend, your dog or your cat: head in hands, the hold-on palms, a finger jabbed at the lens and the palm slap that ends it.

The four moves
Bad Times AI is the AI take on the BAD TIMES argument: a lip-sync to Imael Angel’s 2026 song in which someone rows with whoever holds the phone, so every point and lunge lands on the viewer. Since AI dogs and cats took it over, people make it from a single photo, and it often gets called the Bad Times AI dance, though nobody dances. The template covers the first 15 seconds, in four moves.
Move 1
Bent double and clutching the head, the arguer straightens up, stares down the lens and settles into hand-on-hip disbelief. Your photo decides who is doing the sighing; the template sets the timing.
Move 2
Both palms pushed at the lens and a shake of the head: hold on, let me finish. It reads at a glance on a phone screen, which is why nearly every remake keeps it.
Move 3
A turn, two quick steps and the face fills the frame, a finger jabbing at whoever is filming. This close-up is the beat that shows your photo the most.
Move 4 · Pets too
The routine’s last word, and where the template stops. Pets can take it too: up on its hind legs, a dog presses a whole paw to the lens.
Cast your arguerWhoever is in your photo takes the arguer's spot, you or a Bad Times dog or cat. Each card describes what the template asks the model for, not a tested promise: pets are new to this template.
The camera plays whoever is getting told off, so the caption only has to say what they did. Four ideas to start from; the routine lands hardest on whoever is least likely to argue.
A cat that already stares you awake only needs the head-in-hands to make its case.
Caption: Me: five more minutes. My cat at 5:04 a.m.:
Shoes on, no leash: a dog left at the door has every reason to jab at the lens.
Caption: When I put my shoes on and it's not for a walk
Your dad or your most patient friend losing it over something tiny is the whole joke.
Caption: My dad when someone touches the thermostat
Play yourself and re-argue the case you always lose.
Caption: Me explaining why I'm late, again
The argument format started with one creator’s kitchen take, captioned “Ça va barder!!” and stamped with a red DISPUTE label. Every AI version follows its beats; the pets are what made it travel.

The argument has one star, so the photo should too: a single adult, dog or cat.

One adult, thighs up, hands empty
Face the camera with eyes open; the hold-on palms and the finger need hands the model can see.

A dog with its whole body in frame
Ears, all four paws and the tail visible, so the template has legs to stand it up on.

A cat sitting up, nothing in front
Even light keeps the coat pattern and eye color steady through the lunge.

A face and nothing else
With no paws or arms in the photo, the model has to invent them.

Two pets, or a group
The routine has one arguer and faces can blend; crop to the one animal or adult you mean.

Hands already busy
A mug, a phone or a bag strap in front of the body hides the hands the routine needs.

No. A video costs credits: 360 for the default 15-second 768p video, and 200 to 960 if you change the length or resolution. You see the exact price on the Generate button before anything is charged.
No. The model generates its own soundtrack, and the mouth follows the rhythm of the routine roughly, not word for word. When you post, add BAD TIMES from the TikTok or Instagram sound library; Oeneo AI does not license the song.
Imael Angel is the stage name of Bernadett Gángó. Her artist profiles describe her writing the lyrics and developing them into full songs with AI tools; “BAD TIMES” came out as a single on March 30, 2026. Oeneo AI doesn’t speak for the artist: on this page, the AI is the video, your photo playing the argument.
It’s French for roughly “things are about to kick off”. It was the caption on the kitchen video that turned BAD TIMES into an argument, so it often travels with the trend. The 1955 French film of the same name has nothing to do with it.
Your own, another adult who has agreed to it, or your own pet. Photos of children and of public figures are not allowed.
The lunge and the close-up at the lens are the hardest frames for the model, so a face, hairstyle or coat pattern can drift there, and a pet can come out with hand-like paws. A sharp, evenly lit photo that shows the whole subject holds up best, and another run can come out closer.
Not in one run. The template follows the first 15 seconds of the kitchen take, and you can shorten it to 5 seconds. To keep it going, add seconds to the result with the AI Video Extender.
No. Oeneo AI is not affiliated with Imael Angel, her label or the creators who started the trend.
