The intro, beat by beat

What is the A2O LITE NEON dance trend?

The A2O LITE NEON dance trend is the wave of AI videos that put two people into the duo intro of NEON, the debut single of A2O LITE, the nine-member girl group from A2O Entertainment, the agency where Lee Soo-man is chief producer. The intro runs about 15 seconds: an opening close-up, synced sway, a diagonal arm raise, a low groove, a spin into a high kick and the high-and-low freeze. You don't need the tutorial or the mirror version first: here is what the right lead and the left partner do on each beat.

0–5 s · opening

Close-up, synced sway, diagonal arm raise

Right lead: opens alone in a close-up with a wink and a hair flip, then dances in front for the synced sway. Left partner: sways just behind on the left, then stretches one arm straight up for the diagonal while the lead leans in.

5–10 s · groove

Point at the lens, then the low groove

Right lead: stays in front, crosses the arms and points both hands at the camera, then sinks into the groove. Left partner: mirrors each move from behind on the left. Then both turn side-on for low, bouncing steps and lean toward the camera.

10–15 s · the killing part

The spin kick and the high-and-low freeze

Right lead: spins low, snaps the high kick fans call the killing part and lands on one leg, both arms up. Left partner: crouches low behind, so the two heights in one frame tell the parts apart, then lunges as the camera pushes in on the lead. On the last beat they split apart, arms swinging out.

Pairing ideas

Which pairs make the funniest NEON intro?

The trend took off when AI put the least likely duos into one of the hardest intros around: the less likely the pair, the funnier the take. Do it with people you know, as long as both are adults who said yes.

Two friends in matching red jackets hit the high-and-low pose in a white studio

Besties

Besties, one low and one high

The classic version: one of you lands on one leg, the other crouches low behind. Matching jackets make the synced moves read at a glance.

A couple in matching blue windbreakers raise their arms on a diagonal in a white studio

Couple

A couple on the diagonal

One of you leans in front for the arm raise, the other stretches up on the diagonal behind. Decide who gets the spin kick before you upload: it is the right lead's move.

A mother and father in their fifties point at the camera together in a white studio, laughing

Parents

Mum and Dad pointing at the lens

Parents who have never heard the song still hit every beat, finger-point and spin kick included. Ask them first, then send it to the family chat.

An office worker in a charcoal suit spins into a high kick while a colleague in a blue shirt bends low behind

Coworkers

Two coworkers, straight faces

A suit doing the killing part while a colleague crouches deadpan behind is the office take on the trend. Keep neutral faces in the photos and let the moves be the joke.

How to shoot the right-lead and left-partner photos

Upload two photos with one person in each: photo 1 goes in Right lead, photo 2 in Left partner. Swap them to swap who spins. The lead gets the close-ups; the wide shots show both of you head to shoes.

Survives the spin kick

  1. One woman standing full body against a plain white background

    Just you, feet included

The kick and the one-leg pose show legs and feet in the wide shots, so a standing photo from head to shoes gives the template the real you.

  2. A man looking straight at the camera on a white background, face evenly lit

Looking at the lens in daylight

The close-ups land on the right lead and the spin turns the head away; a sharp, evenly lit face keeps it you.

  3. A man in a black bomber jacket and khaki cargo pants standing on white

    Dressed for the duo

Your photo sets the outfit: the example's black cami and cargos, white cardigan and jeans don't carry over. Matching or clashing looks both work.

Trips up the duo

  1. Two friends hugging in a café, cropped at the waist

    One photo for both sides

Each slot takes one person; a photo of you together makes it guess who dances where, and faces can blend.

  2. A close phone selfie cropped at the shoulders on a blurred street

A selfie with no legs in it

With no body in the photo, the legs, outfit and shoes in the kick have to be invented.

  3. A man in a low cap and dark sunglasses looking away in a park

    Shades and a low brim

Covered eyes and a turned head leave too little to keep the face steady through the turns.

FAQ

A2O LITE NEON dance AI FAQ

How do I make the A2O LITE NEON dance AI video with a friend?+

Put your photo in Right lead and your friend's in Left partner, check the length, aspect ratio and quality, and press Generate. The two dancers in the intro come back as the two of you; download the video and add the song when you post.

Is it A2O LITE or A20 LITE?+

A2O LITE, with the letter O. A20 LITE, with a zero, is a common typo: searches for “A20 LITE NEON dance” mean the same group, the same song and the same intro.

Can I use photos of idols, celebrities or the A2O LITE members?+

No. Use photos of yourself and of adults who agreed to be in the video. Photos of idols, celebrities or other public figures, the A2O LITE members included, are not allowed.

Does the video play the NEON song?+

No. Each video comes with sound generated by the model, not the NEON recording, and the song is not included or licensed. To post it with the music, add NEON from your platform's sound library, or reuse the intro sound that NEON challenge posts use; tag #neonchallenge if you like.

Is the NEON dance AI free?+

No, each video costs credits. The default 15-second 768p video is 360 credits; other lengths and resolutions run from 200 to 958. The Generate button shows the price before you start.

Who choreographed the NEON duo intro?+

Choreographer J-Black worked on the duo intro together with the Cream Dance team, as J-Black shared on October 14, 2026. The template follows the intro’s moves; it is not a frame-exact copy of the official choreography.

Can my cats do the A2O MEOW version?+

Not here. The first AI version of the intro starred two cats, but this template takes two photos of people only.

Can I dance the NEON intro solo?+

Not on this page: it is a duo template that always fills both sides, so it needs two photos of two different people.

Why does a face change during the spin?+

The spin, the hair flips and the push-in close-up are where a likeness slips most. A sharp, front-on photo in even light holds best; if one face drifts, run it again with a clearer photo.

Is this an official A2O LITE video?+

No. Oeneo AI is not affiliated with A2O LITE, A2O Entertainment, the choreographers or any dancer who has covered the intro. Every result is an AI video made from your photos, not a real recording.
