Classic leopard, for her or for him
A caramel jumpsuit or dress with black rosettes, round ears and a tail. On a man the template switches to a leopard shirt with black trousers, as here: the easiest men’s version to copy.
Put on a leopard Halloween costume in your own photo: the outfit, ears and face paint change, and your face and pose stay.

Try itA leopard costume is a Halloween look people come back to every October: leopard print, round ears and painted rosettes. On TikTok the leopard Halloween costume trend is in its third season, from makeup tutorials in 2024 and 2025 to a leopard shorts search that topped global trending in 2026.

Search follows the same calendar. In Google Trends (US), “leopard costume” and “cheetah costume” start rising in the last week of September and peak in the last week of October, the same curve in 2024, 2025 and 2026. Of the two animal print Halloween costumes, cheetah is the bigger search: in a one-month comparison read on October 29, 2026, it scored 100 to leopard’s 56.
@s.ophiegracee posts a leopard Halloween makeup tutorial on TikTok; it reaches 4.5 million views and 222,000 likes.
@kaylee.marina posts “day 3 of my Halloween series: leopard makeup” on TikTok: 13.1 million views and 1.05 million likes.
TikTok sets up a search page called “Leopard Makeup Tutorial Trend For Halloween”.
The misspelled “Lepoard Halloween shorts trend” is No. 1 on TikTok’s global trending searches; a day later it is out of the top 20.

Each look below was made from a single photo with this template: full length on the left, the ears and face paint up close on the right.

A caramel jumpsuit or dress with black rosettes, round ears and a tail. On a man the template switches to a leopard shirt with black trousers, as here: the easiest men’s version to copy.

A golden long-sleeved jumpsuit with small rounded ears: the brightest of the three cats.

A plush white and silver-grey jumpsuit with fluffy leg warmers and icy blue eye makeup. Pick it when you want the leopard look in a cool palette instead of brown and gold.

Sequined leopard shorts, a black cropped top, fluffy leg warmers and ears: the shorts look behind the 2026 TikTok search. Shorts and crop tops only go on adults; men get a leopard shirt with shorts, children a full jumpsuit.
Leopard and cheetah print are not the same: leopard has rosettes, broken rings with a lighter centre, while cheetah has solid round black dots. A snow leopard keeps the leopard’s rosettes, in pale grey on white.
| What to look at | Leopard | Cheetah | Snow leopard |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pattern | Open rosettes, lighter centres | Solid round black dots | Pale grey open rosettes |
| Base colour | Caramel to warm tan | Golden yellow | White and silver-grey |
| Face paint | Temple rosettes, black nose | Black tear line, eye to mouth | Icy blue or silver eyes |
| Accessories | Round ears, often a tail | Small ears, often a tail | White ears, fluffy leg warmers |
| Good for | Anyone; men in a print shirt | Standing out in a group | A cool palette, no brown |
In a band from the hairline down the temples to the outer cheekbones, with a dark nose tip and philtrum, brown smoky liner and brown lips. The Leopard makeup look paints exactly that on your photo and leaves everything else alone.

Makeup only
No ears, no tail, no new clothes: the look adds face paint to the photo you already have. That makes it the last-minute leopard costume: a black top, leopard makeup and you are done.

Up close
A closer, front-facing photo shows exactly where each spot lands. Keep the result on your phone to check against while you paint; it shows the finished look, not the steps.
Before you buy a costume or paint your face: one photo of you, one look per run, as many runs as you want to compare.

Your photo·You
You wear every look. The template changes the clothes, adds the ears and tail and paints the face, and keeps your face, hair, body shape, pose and background.

For Leopard makeup, yes: a close, front-facing selfie shows the spots best. For the four costumes use a head-to-knee or full-length photo; from a selfie the template has to guess your body, and the outfit loses its shape.
Yes. Children get a full one-piece jumpsuit, never shorts or a cropped top, and only a painted nose tip and whiskers on the face. Upload a child’s photo only if you are their parent or guardian; results on this template are always private.
Yes. When the photo is ready, tap Animate it to make a short Halloween clip from it; that clip is priced separately, and its Generate button shows the price. For a makeover video where a Halloween look appears on your face, use the Halloween Transformation template.
Fine pattern is the hardest part: when you are small and far away in the photo, leopard rosettes can come out as plain dots, and heavy face paint such as the cheetah tear lines changes how a face reads. Use a sharper photo where you fill more of the frame and generate again.
Yes, one photo each: every person uploads their own photo and picks a look, so a group can go as leopard, cheetah and snow leopard. A single photo with two people in it is not supported here; for a couple in one picture use the Couple Costume template, and for pets the Pet Halloween Costume template.
Leopard, cheetah or snow leopard: see which one suits you, then post it or animate it.
