The AI couple prank is the cliff plank trend: a 15-second, six-shot AI couple sketch. One partner yells from the far end of a plank sticking out over a cliff, the other answers with one cold look and a step back, and the plank tips the yeller into the air. It’s a one-sided argument, and no one touches anyone.
10:02–0:05In a tight close-up he leans toward her and shouts, mouth wide open, with nothing but grey sky behind him.
20:07–0:09Cut to her face, his shoulder in the foreground: no reply, just a long, unimpressed stare.
30:11–0:13She steps back off her end of the plank. The moment she’s off, the plank tips up and he loses his footing at the far end.
40:13–0:15The last shot holds on his wide eyes and open mouth as he drops, and the sketch ends right there, in mid-air.
The same search turns up three different formats. Oeneo AI makes only the first: a short sketch that both of you star in.

The cliff plank trend began with one AI-made couple sketch posted on Instagram on October 27, 2026. Its caption never says prank; the name “AI Couple Prank” came a day later, from an AI template listing.

The caption calls it a love story at its breaking point, then lands the joke: he really should have let her have her coffee first. That’s the whole gag. He does all the shouting, and she ends the argument without a word, in one step.
AI template sites already list the “AI couple thriller”, a separate cliff-edge couple template that grew from template pages rather than from a viral post.
Instagram creator @jessicaehgholl posts the 15-second cliff plank sketch, with a caption teasing it as “MR. & MRS. CHAOS”.
The reel shows about 193,800 likes and 1,492 comments on Instagram, counted on October 29 (Instagram shows no view count).

Whoever starts the fight goes on the plank. It’s an AI video prank for adults who are in on the joke; your results stay private.

This time she does the yelling. The outfits stay with the roles, so she gets the white shirt and he gets the long coat.
Caption idea: “Equal rights, equal plank.”
Cast the friend who always has to win an argument on the plank, and give the cold look to the one who never raises their voice.
Caption idea: “Roommate meeting: adjourned.”
Upload one photo per person. Your photos bring the faces and hair; the cliff, the plank, the camera and the cuts stay as they are, and the outfits go with the roles. Any two adults can take either part, so swapping the photos switches who falls.
