Grease dance AI, also called the Grease trend AI or the Grease AI dance, is an AI video that puts two people from their own photos into a couple dance at a 1950s carnival at dusk, in the spirit of the film's final dance scene: Sandy and Danny's You're the One That I Want dance at the school carnival.

The real-life version comes back every autumn. Couples dress up as Sandy and Danny and post the dance, or a "guess who we are" costume reveal, on TikTok. Sandy's last-scene makeover, from the sweet new girl to an all-black outfit and red heels, already plays like a reveal, and the two looks come as a pair.
The AI version moved the same idea onto templates: no costumes to buy and no steps to learn, which is why AI versions keep appearing outside October too.
A couple's "Guess who we are" reveal as Sandy and Danny goes up on TikTok and reaches 11.49 million views.
A couple's Grease duet, posted on TikTok under #grease and #couple, reaches 5.96 million views.
A tutorial for a solo "Grease AI Dance" CapCut template is posted on TikTok and draws 438,316 views.
The two-person carnival template "Grease Trend AI" appears on CapCut; it has been used 66,652 times.
A solo dancer by the sea in France dances it to a TikTok sound of You're the One That I Want: 606,259 views.

In one unbroken shot the pair strut in, point, spin, swing and finish cheek to cheek on the grass of a fairground at dusk, with the carousel lit up and striped tents, bunting and balloons behind them.
10:00–0:03Side by side, they strut straight at the camera across the grass with a bounce in every step.
20:03–0:04They swing round to face each other and point, fingertips almost touching.
30:04–0:06Hands join, one arm goes up and the dancer in red heels turns a full circle under it, hair flying.
40:06–0:08Holding both hands, they rock from side to side in a swing step, laughing at each other.
50:08–0:10They pull in close, cheek to cheek, and smile straight into the camera to end the dance.
Each photo takes one part. The outfits belong to the parts, not to your photos, so swap the order if you'd rather wear the other look.

Photo 1·Woman in red heels
Starts on the left, points first and spins under her partner's arm. Your photo gives her face, hair and build; the black off-the-shoulder top, high-waisted trousers and red heels stay.

Photo 2·Man in leather jacket
Walks in on the right, lifts an arm for the spin and leads the swing. Your photo gives his face, hair and build; the black leather jacket, T-shirt and trousers stay.

Open toolNo, and it uses no film footage. It's a new carnival duet in the spirit of the finale, in outfits that nod to Sandy's all-black look and Danny's leather jacket, not a step-for-step copy of the film's choreography.
No. The video keeps the template's own sound. To post it with You're the One That I Want, add the song from the TikTok or Instagram sound library when you upload.
No. The 1950s outfits come with the template, so everyday photos are fine. They can't be swapped for your own clothes either: whatever you wear in the photos, the dance is in the red heels and the leather jacket.
Yes. Any two adults can dance it together, whether they're a couple, friends or family.
No. This template needs two photos, one per dancer, and has no solo version.
No, it's people only. The dance needs two people standing hand in hand for the spin and the cheek-to-cheek finish, and the 1950s outfits are half the joke.
The dance opens in a wide shot where both faces are small, and the spin turns one dancer away from the camera, so those moments resemble you least; the close finish shows faces best. Clear, front-facing photos help most, as in the photo checklist above.
No. The Grease AI filter restyles a selfie into a still photo with the 1950s looks; this makes a video of two people dancing at the carnival.
Yes, if they're an adult and happy to be in it. Videos from this template are always private and never appear in the public gallery, whatever your plan.
No. Oeneo AI isn't connected to the film, its studio or its cast; this is an independent dance template.
No, each video costs credits. The price depends on the resolution you pick, and the Generate button shows the exact price before you start. New accounts get 10 credits when they sign up.
No costumes, no rehearsal: just the two of you, already dancing the carnival finale.
